Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Istanbul, followed by a pre-arranged domestic flight to Şanlıurfa. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your private local driver-guide, and your exploration will commence.

The first highlight of the day is the ongoing excavation site of Göbekli Tepe, where you will gain insight into the world’s earliest known ritual structures—predating Stonehenge by approximately 6,000 years. Your guide will provide detailed historical context while allowing ample time for photography and personal exploration.

Following this visit, you will return to the city center to explore the Şanlıurfa Archaeology and Mosaic Museum—the largest museum complex in Türkiye—featuring impressive exhibits, including life-sized reconstructions of Göbekli Tepe’s monumental pillars.

The tour continues with a visit to the Pool of Abraham (Balıklıgöl), a site of profound spiritual importance. According to tradition, this is where Prophet Abraham was cast into the fire, which was miraculously transformed into water, and the flames into sacred fish.

You will also visit the nearby cave, believed to be the birthplace of Prophet Abraham, before concluding your program.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Şanlıurfa Airport for your evening flight back to Istanbul, followed by a private transfer to your hotel.
