I graduated from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2008 with a degree in Tourism Management. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in an exchange program in Wroclaw, Poland, which gave me an invaluable global perspective. Later, I lived in the United States, spending time in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada, where I gained extensive experience through management trainee programs in leading corporate firms.
Upon returning to Turkey, I began my career as a travel consultant at Turkland Travel, where I worked from 2010 to 2016. During this time, I also took on managerial roles across various businesses within the company, such as 212 Istanbul Suites and Toyca Tour. In 2018, following a brief experience in a convention center, I served as the sales and marketing manager at Hürrem Sultan Hamamı until 2022. Currently, I work as a travel consultant and professional tour guide at Farout Turkey Travel.
These rich experiences have inspired me to create my own brand, and in 2025, I proudly launched TurkeyGreeceTour.com, a company dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences in Turkey and Greece.

Farout Turkey are a very efficient and trustworthy company. All pick ups and drop off were on time hotels arranged were of a good standard and our guide Berkay who also arranged the trip was very helpful and had good knowledge and spoke excellent English.
We didn’t have the time to organise our own tour of Turkiye so we opted for a 13 day Farout Turkey tour. The itinerary, starting with the sights of old Istanbul and finishing with a beautiful balloon ride over the geologically wonderful Capadoccia was perfect. Our guides were all very knowledgeable, with a genuine interest in their specific area. The traveling between sights can be a bit hard work but it’s definitely worth it when you get there - only Pumakkale was slightly disappointing because the water only flows on one day a month, so you have to be lucky to see it at its best! We really enjoyed our Farout Gulet cruise, which came in the middle and by this time we needed the rest and relaxation it provided. We were fortunate to have a great group of guests to share it with - super friendly and fun! Special thanks to Berkay for being a great guide in Istanbul and for organising our itinerary and transport, which all worked seamlessly.
In life, a journey becomes more enjoyable and rewarding when there is capable guide. On a such smaller scale but still pretty much part of life, our recent family trip to Turkey to celebrate our son's 4 year birthday become an unforgettable experience, made possible by Berkay Akarsu from FAROUT TURKEY. We had planned this trip with Berkay almost 8 months in advance who had painstakingly crafted each of the 5 days stay for us, optimally planning important sites, attractions and experiences, considering we were traveling with a toddler. Without Berkay, we could not have tasted the bakhlavas from the famed Karakoy Gulluoglu, the relaxing hammam experience at Cağaloğlu Hamam, the street style doner kebabs, or the delightful pre-birthday dinner at Galeyan Restaurant. Berkay also helped arrange a special birthday party for our son on a private Bosphorus yacht. He carried our son's stroller on the busy streets of Istanbul, almost becoming a part of our family. His knowledge of history and his love for the city of Istanbul is evident from how much passionate he has been in his job. He is the perfect guide one would ask for.
We had Istanbul Tour with Farout Turkey, and I highly recommend them for making our tour a memorable and smooth one. I toured with my mom who is very slow in walking and had some medical issues, but Farout Turkey was able to accommodate our needs and fit it in our tour which cannot be seen in group tour packages. They customized our tour based on our needs and made our experience fantastic! I would say their service is priceless. We thank Berkay, our tour guide, he is the most essential part of our tour. With his excellent skills and knowledge, we learned a lot about Istanbul and how to make the most of our stay. I will definitely recommend them to my family, friends, and even strangers.
