Traveling solo made easy
As a solo traveler, there’s always a mix of excitement and uncertainty when visiting a new country. I found Turkey Greece Tours through Google, and since they were based in the area, I decided to trust them with planning my trips to Athens and Istanbul—two cities I had always wanted to visit. From the start, everything was organized very efficiently. They coordinated my airport transfers and tours, which made traveling between places much less stressful. My favorite experiences were the Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazaar tour in Istanbul, along with the Acropolis tour in Athens. They were definitely highlights of my trip. Excellently organized trip with personal service in Istanbul and Athens We booked our trip to Istanbul and Athens through TurkeyGreeceTour.com and were thrilled from start to finish. Everything was excellently organized, and we felt well taken care of throughout the entire trip. In Istanbul, Berkay was our tour guide. He is not only extremely competent and knowledgeable, but also a warm person who truly cares about his guests. We were particularly impressed by the second day, when we explored the Asian side of Istanbul. Instead of just visiting the well-known sights, he led us into authentic neighborhoods away from the tourist crowds. A wonderful first time in Istanbul
I only had half a day in Istanbul, booked at very short notice, and it was my first time in the city. Berkay had been recommended to me, and I could not have been happier with the experience. He was extremely flexible and put together a wonderful individual tour of the old city, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia from the outside, the Hippodrome and Topkapı Palace. What I particularly appreciated was that Berkay does not simply recite facts from guidebooks. He brings history to life and places it in a wider cultural and historical context, drawing on his own extensive travels and knowledge of different cultures. The tour felt personal, thoughtful and very well balanced. I learned a great deal, but never felt overwhelmed. It was also a real pleasure to be able to have a genuine conversation with him along the way — not only about the sights, but also about history, culture and the wider world. For a first visit to Istanbul, especially with limited time, this was exactly what I had hoped for. I would warmly recommend Berkay to anyone looking for an intelligent, engaging and flexible guide.
